Le plus petit chat du monde s'appelait Tinker Toy, et mesurait 7 cm de haut
et 19 cm de long seulement ! C'était un mâle himalayen-persan. Ses propriétaires Katrina
et Scott Forbes étaient des (États-Unis) de Taylorville, Illinois, États-Unis.

and only 19 cm long! He was a Himalayan-Persian male. Its owners Katrina
and Scott Forbes were (United States) from Taylorville, Illinois, United States.

Quand Ben Rea (Royaume-Uni) est décédé en mai 1988, il a légué sa fortune
de 7 millions de livres (12,5 millions de dollars) à Blackie, le dernier survivant
des 15 chats avec qui il partageait son manoir. Le marchand d'antiquités millionnaire
et recluse a refusé de reconnaître sa famille dans son testament et a partagé la majorité
de sa richesse entre trois charités de chat, avec l'instruction de soigner son animal de
compagnie aimé. Rea a également légué de petites sommes d'argent à son jardinier,
son mécanicien et son plombier, et a laissé une maison à son ami Ken Randolph. 
Sa soeur Dorothy, qui est morte seulement quelques jours avant lui, a également
laissé £ 2,8 millions (£ 5 millions) aux organismes de bienfaisance d'animal.

in his will and shared the majority of his wealth between three cat charities, with

mechanic and plumber, and left a home for his friend Ken Randolph. His sister Dorothy,
